About
Illustrator and cartoonist, Venice.
Benedetta Claudia Vialli is an illustrator and cartoonist. Born in the Alps, she made the lagoon her home.
She holds a diploma in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and specialized in illustration for publishing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
She helped found the independent publishing house Sigaretten Edizioni Grafiche, with which she published her first graphic novel, Dove sei, in 2021. She teaches illustration at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Turin.
She is the founder of Studio Foreste, a workshop space in the heart of Venice and a meeting point for creative people. Outside Italy she is represented by Salzman International.
